Sound familiar?

One more deadline you keep almost missing.

The confirmation statement is not complicated. It is also not the kind of thing that sits at the top of anyone’s to-do list — until Companies House sends a reminder, or worse, a strike-off warning arrives in the post. For most limited company directors, the risk is not that they do not know it needs doing. It is that the anniversary creeps up and the filing slips.

  • The 12-month anniversary comes and goes without the confirmation statement being filed
  • You are not sure which details on the Companies House record still need updating
  • Strike-off correspondence has arrived before the filing was dealt with

What on top of it looks like

The confirmation statement goes on the calendar the day you become a client. We review your record, confirm the details are accurate, file the CS01 before the deadline, and tell you it is done.

  • Deadline tracked and filing submitted well before the Companies House window closes
  • Your registered details checked for accuracy before every submission — nothing left stale
  • No strike-off risk from an administrative oversight that was entirely preventable
  • Fixed fee, scoped to your company — no surprises on the invoice

Why Next Level

Why not just use the Companies House WebFiling portal yourself

You can. Most people do, once or twice, until they miss a detail or a deadline. Here is what the alternative looks like.

📋

Nothing Slips Through the Gap

The confirmation statement is one of those filings that matters far more than it appears to. A missed deadline or an inaccurate record can trigger a strike-off warning — which takes considerably more effort to resolve than the original filing would have. The date is tracked, the filing goes in, and you receive confirmation. That is the end of it.

👤

Reviewed Personally by Annabel

Every enquiry and every piece of work is handled by Annabel directly — not a junior member of staff or an outsourced team. For a filing that depends on getting the company details right, that matters. There is no handoff and no version of the form reviewed by someone who does not know your company.

🏢

Part of a Complete Companies House Picture

The confirmation statement sits alongside your year-end accounts, Corporation Tax return and any other statutory filings. When all of that is handled in one place, deadlines do not get missed because they were someone else’s responsibility. One point of contact, one set of records, one less thing to coordinate.

Getting started

Up and running in three straightforward steps

The onboarding process is handled almost entirely by us. Most clients spend under an hour on administration before everything is running.

1

A free discovery call

A 20-30 minute call with Annabel — no scripts, no pitch deck. She asks about your company, your current setup and what is outstanding. You find out whether we are the right fit before any money changes hands.

2

A tailored proposal

A clear proposal scoped to what your company actually needs — including the confirmation statement and any other statutory filings in scope. Fixed fee, no surprises, no template pricing tiers that do not fit your situation.

3

We take it from here

Once you are onboard, the confirmation statement deadline goes straight into the calendar. We handle the review, the filing and the confirmation. You do not need to log in to Companies House or track anything yourself.

Questions

Things people usually ask about this

What exactly is a confirmation statement and why does it matter?+

A confirmation statement (form CS01) is an annual filing every UK limited company must submit to Companies House confirming that the information held on the public register is accurate — directors, shareholders, registered address, SIC codes and share capital. It is not the same as your annual accounts. Missing the 14-day filing window after your review period ends does not result in a fine, but it does trigger a Companies House strike-off process, which is considerably more disruptive to unpick than filing on time would have been.

What does the confirmation statement service cost?+

Fees are scoped per client following the free discovery call and depend on the complexity of your company structure. There is no published price list — the proposal you receive is built around your specific situation, not a template tier. If the confirmation statement is one item in a broader annual compliance package, it is priced accordingly.

My Companies House record is out of date. Can you sort it before filing?+

Yes. Before submitting the confirmation statement, we review your record and identify anything that needs correcting or updating — a change of director, a shareholder update, an address that has moved. Where changes are needed, we handle them alongside the filing. If there is a backlog of dormant filings or other outstanding statutory work, that is scoped separately and resolved before anything else goes in.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No. There is no lock-in and no minimum term. If you decide to leave, you take your records and your tidy Companies House register with you. The only ask is reasonable notice so we can complete any work in progress and hand over cleanly.

Do you handle the confirmation statement for dormant companies as well?+

Yes. A dormant company still has a legal obligation to file a confirmation statement each year, even if it has no trading activity. The filing is simpler, but the deadline and the consequences of missing it are identical. If you have a dormant company sitting alongside a trading entity, both can be handled as part of the same engagement.
