Yes, and it is not an unusual starting point. Backlog clearance and compliance rescue are a specific part of what Next Level does, including recovering records, correcting errors and getting everything current before the ongoing FD on Demand service begins. The catch-up work is scoped separately so you know what it will cost before anything is agreed. Once the records are clean, the ongoing service runs from there.
Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contract. The engagement runs month to month once the initial onboarding is complete. If it is not the right fit after three months, you leave with current books, up-to-date management accounts and nothing owed. The aim is to be the kind of resource you would not want to leave — not one you are contractually obliged to stay with.
Do I need to be based in Bournemouth or Dorset to work with you?
No. The practice is cloud-based via Xero, and clients are onboarded and supported entirely remotely — by video, phone and email. The FD on Demand service works just as well for a business in Manchester or London as it does for one in Bournemouth or Poole. Location is not a barrier.
