Our books are behind and a bit of a mess. Can you still take it on?
Yes, and it is more common than you might think. Businesses usually arrive with the books in some state of disarray, and we clear the backlog and get everything current before the ongoing function starts. If there is a meaningful amount of catch-up work, we scope and price that separately so you can see exactly what it involves.
Am I tied into a long contract?
No. There is an initial three-month settling-in period so we can get everything running properly, and after that either side can walk away. If you leave, you go with clean books and nothing outstanding. The arrangement stands on the work, not on a contract.
Do I need to be in Bournemouth to work with you?
No. The practice is based in Bournemouth, Dorset, and works with clients across Dorset, Hampshire and the wider UK entirely through cloud accounting. Everything runs on Xero, with onboarding and support handled by video and phone, so your location makes no difference to the service.
