Sound familiar?

Not entirely sure what your tax bill will be this year?

Most limited company directors are on top of their trade. The accounts side is another matter. Year-end arrives and the numbers are a surprise. Corporation Tax is a guess until the accountant confirms it months later. Confirmation statements sit in an inbox somewhere. None of it is catastrophic — until it is.

  • Year-end lands and the tax bill is genuinely news to you
  • Books are behind and the accountant is not chasing — you are
  • No clear picture of profit, cash or what you can safely draw

What a properly run limited company looks like

The compliance runs quietly in the background. The numbers are current. You know your tax position before HMRC writes to you. Monthly management accounts mean nothing is a surprise at year-end.

  • Corporation Tax estimated throughout the year — not revealed after the fact
  • Books kept current monthly so year-end is a process, not a panic
  • Monthly management accounts in 5 working days — profit, cash and drawings visible

Why Next Level

Not your average accountants

There are plenty of firms that will file your accounts. Fewer who will tell you what they mean and what to do next.

📊

16 years inside real businesses

Annabel has worked at a strategic and operational level inside real businesses — not just processed their numbers from a distance. The advice on your limited company accounts comes from someone who has sat on your side of the desk. That is a different thing from compliance-only work.

📅

Year-end on time, no surprises

Statutory accounts and Corporation Tax filed before the deadline, with tax planned throughout the year rather than computed at the end of it. You know your approximate liability months before it is due — which is, frankly, the way it should be.

💬

Plain English. Every time.

No jargon, no overwhelming reports. The numbers that matter for your limited company, explained in a way that helps you make decisions. Every enquiry is reviewed personally by Annabel — you deal with her directly, not a rotating team.

Getting started

Up and running in three straightforward steps

The handover is handled entirely by us. Most clients are onboarded and have their books running properly within a week of the discovery call.

1

A free discovery call

A 20-30 minute call — no scripts, no pitch deck. Annabel asks about your limited company, your current setup and what is keeping you up at night. You get honest advice whether you become a client or not.

2

A proposal built for you

A fee proposal scoped to what your limited company actually needs — not a template tier. Clear scope, clear fee, no surprises. You decide if it makes sense.

3

We handle the transition

We contact your previous accountant, request the handover pack and take the admin off your plate. Your books are running properly from day one. You do almost nothing.

4

Your accounts, sorted

Year-end filed on time. Tax visible throughout the year. Management accounts in 5 working days of month close if in scope. Considerably less to think about — which is, in the end, the point.

Questions

A few things people usually ask

What does a limited company actually need from an accountant each year?+

At a minimum: year-end statutory accounts filed with Companies House, Corporation Tax computed and the CT600 submitted to HMRC, and a confirmation statement filed annually. Depending on your turnover you will also need quarterly VAT returns and may want monthly management accounts to keep a grip on the numbers between year-ends. The discovery call establishes what applies to your situation.

How is the fee worked out, and what is included?+

Fees are scoped to each client’s specific situation — not a template tier. Year-end accounts and Corporation Tax are the core for a limited company; management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and payroll are added where they are in scope. The fee and scope are confirmed in a written proposal before anything starts. There are no surprises.

My books are behind and my previous accountant has gone quiet. Can you help?+

Yes — this is a reasonably common situation and entirely recoverable. Annabel will assess the backlog on the discovery call, confirm the catch-up scope and cost upfront, and manage the handover from your previous accountant directly. The goal is to get everything current and compliant as quickly as possible, and then keep it that way.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No. There is no minimum term. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean books and nothing owed beyond the work completed. The relationship continues because it is useful, not because of a contract.

Do you handle the Companies House confirmation statement as well?+

Yes. Confirmation statement filing is part of the company secretarial work covered for limited company clients. Deadlines are tracked and submissions are made on time — you will not miss a filing because it slipped through the cracks.

Can you help with salary and dividend planning to reduce my personal tax?+

Yes. Salary and dividend planning is part of the advisory work for limited company directors — structuring drawings tax-efficiently is a normal part of the year-round conversation, not something reserved for a separate engagement. It is one of the practical differences between compliance-only work and genuinely commercial advice.
